 PCD-You: Meet Nynke
After studying at Yale, Nynke Dekker went to Leiden to see if she wanted to pursue a PhD. This was so much to her liking that she decided to go back to the US to do PhD research in atomic physics. She spent time building arrays of mirrors, lasers and lenses to manipulate atoms. She enjoyed doing this, but did not see herself doing this for the rest of her career.
