Danone Research – Centre for Specialised Nutrition is a life sciences innovation centre for the development of new product concepts for Baby Nutrition and Medical Nutrition. We create formulas that provide clinically substantiated health benefits to vulnerable consumers – infants, toddlers, elderly and patients.
Our products are marketed under the brand names Nutricia, Milupa, SHS and Blédina, amongst others. Capitalising on our numerous international preclinical and clinical collaborations, we aim to identify new nutritional intervention opportunities and develop innovative product forms.
Danone has R&D facilities worldwide, with major centres in The Netherlands (Wageningen, Zoetermeer and Cuijk), France (Palaiseau), Germany (Friedrichsdorf) and UK (Liverpool). In 2012 Danone Research will move to the Science Park in Utrecht, combining all Dutch locations in one state-of-the-art innovation centre.
