 Top Institute Pharma is a public-private partnership in which scientific and business worlds work together on a multidisciplinary research aimed at improving the development of socially valuable medicines. Our research portfolio is based on the disease areas as specified in Priority Medicines, a report by the World Health Organization.
Since our launch in 2006, 49 research consortia have been formed, combining 28 universities, their affiliated medical centers and knowledge institutes and 47 industrial partners including global pharmaceutical companies and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). These 49 consortia form the core of TI Pharma’s Strategic Research Program.
Our aim is to create a new generation of researchers. Fellows working in our partnerships are part of a focused research project. They work in a cross-disciplinary team with a common goal; their work is translational, bridging different fields of expertise. Our fellows understand the value of their work for academia and industry.
We seek highly motivated researchers who are interested in a PhD or Postdoc position.
We offer our fellows the opportunity to execute top-quality research in a unique public-private setting, learn from our partners and carry out their work at several partner locations. This expands their network as well as their career prospects. Further more, we offer our fellows a unique education and training program aimed at strengthening researchers’ business skills.
